It's funny trying to come back to reality, but then what is reality when all I experienced at The Do was 72 hours of heightened realness, pure inspiration and a deep connection with the most remarkable people I have ever met.
They call it ‘Do Drunk’ but I feel now more than ever that the human race will be ok. No matter how steep an uphill battle we face, we will reach the summit, together, one day.
After a long overdue first date, my romance with The Do Lectures has ignited an untameable fire and I am eternally grateful for every connection I made and for the feeling of “holy shit, I’m alive” I experienced every second I spent there.
The Do is a coming together of the movers and shakers of the world, the makers of the future, the social entrepreneurs, the environmentalists, the healers and the artists, here’s some of the remarkable DOers who spoke;
I recently embarked on a personal journey to do more in the world when I started Break Your Cycle. That was only a month ago and the timing of The Do could not have been more perfect. It enabled me to get a clearer idea of my own next step and proved to me yet again that everything we need is all around us, we just need to believe and do, it’s that simple.
To be alive is to accept life’s challenge to Do & Be all you can, just as it’s an artist’s responsibility to reflect the times in which they exist. And so it is our duty as humans to be true to ourselves, strive to find our purpose and follow our dreams.
The Do Lectures USA take place over 4 days on Campovida winery in northern California. The days are filled with a series of talks (13) , Q & A sessions, group workshops, dining experiences, break out sessions and vineyard dance parties. The weekend is typically attended by around 80 amazing humans and if it sounds like your cup of tea here’s where you can find tickets http://www.dolecturesusa.com/
